Surgery
A main type of Mesothelioma treatment is surgery. It consists of cutting out the cancer from the body. This dramatically decreases the number of malignant cancer cells from Mesothelioma in the body. Surgery is followed up with either chemotherapy or raditation therapy. Very rarely, all three treatment options are utilized. The use of chemotherapy and radiation therapy in with surgery, rids the body of all remaining cancerous cells.
