New Treatment for Asbestos Lung Mesothelioma: Lovastatin
Recently I read that Lovastatin was used to treat a patient with stage 4 melanoma and that the patient has been cancer free for 9 years. Lovastatin initially has been known to be a proven anti-cancer drug with a powerful killing effect on cancerous cells. But the drug was deemed too risky due the high doses required for studying the effects.
